There are various options of care during your pregnancy, birth and post birth experience ranging from 1 appointment to complete midwifery continuity of care until your baby is at least 6 weeks old: (please click on links 1-3 below to find out more)

Our first appointment will take at least 1 hour and is a very individual meeting but usually includes history taking, pregnancy check up, establishing your correct due date, possibly ordering relevant bloodtests or ultrasounds and pregnancy health advice about breastfeeding, pelvic floor excercises, when to call your midwife etc.
I am happy to support you and your family from the beginning of the pregnancy through the birth and until the baby is 6 weeks old. It ispossible to start my midwifery care halfway through your pregnancy - we can make it happen, if there is a will, there is a way 
We discuss whether you want to birth at home or in hospital with myself being your admitting midwife. We will also engage a second midwife. She might be part of your birth journey in early labour at home until it is time to meet me in hospital or she might join as a second midwife for a homebirth. Always feel free to ask any questions for us to discuss during our appointments.
